Just 4 Laughs

I've been working on coloring some humorous images in Paint Shop Pro (PSP). I am able to work in this awesome program because of my BFF (DeJa) in Indiana, who taught herself how to work in PSP and has been teaching me (over the phone, THANK YOU DeJa!). There is sooooo much you can do when you know what you are doing and are lucky enough to have a wonderful and patient teacher. YEP, LUCKY me!!!!  There's alot of tedious work that goes into getting the images ready but it's worth it and it's FUN! When I'm done with my images I print, cut and mount them onto colored card stock. It's also been fun making up saying to go along with some of the images. Enjoy!

The Stampsmith

It has been a long time from my last post. Sometimes life just gets in the way and throws you a curve ball. Here is just one of my favorite stamp companies......The Stampsmith. The Stampsmith is known for super-realistic photo images that when stamped look exactly like a photograph. I find that using Archival Ink in either Jet Black or Sepia on Glossy Card Stock I get the best images. Some images I just leave black and white and others I color using chalks or I use my Distressed Markers from Tim Holtz. I hope you enjoy these pieces. Thanks Estelle for your wonderful stamps. I used a wired ribbon over my image

Postage stamp used in metal postage frame charm with a page pebble over it

Vellum used over sheet music

I added rhinestones around the inside of the frame. Stamped on regular card stock

I lightly heated up some Kids Fun Foam then stamped the suitcase
on it in brown ink then cut it out.
