Halloween Bottles

I have been having fun making Halloween bottles. I made one for my girlfriend Patt and her daughter Elshadi and two for myself. My purple one has a skeleton attached to the cork inside the bottle. I put coal, skulls, crystals and spiders in the bottoms of the bottles. I dripped wax around the corks and on the bottles. I used a red candle for the red. I  also added embellishments to the bottles. I really had a great time making them. You can click on the pictures to get a closer view.

My Craft Room aka Rubber Room

I think I am finally happy with my craft room now. I have finished putting all of my goodies in order (for the 100th and final time LOL). I would go looking for something to add to my art and I know I have it......just couldn't find it. Well not a problem anymore. I purchased the decorative photo boxes labeled them and now I have no troubles finding things. When I am ready to add things to my cards, tags, ATC's etc. I just pull down the box, pick out what I want and or need and put the box back. So much easier! AHHHHHH.........Life is Good!!!!!! I have been crafting for about 25 yrs and I still love it so much. I have tried about everything well almost everything. Rubber stamping, water coloring, Encaustic Waxing, Hand Stitching on card stock, Stenciling, Iris Folding, Tea Bag Folding, Pergamano (learned this in Australia from my good friend Chris), playing with my Gelli Plate, Quilling, working with clay, making jewelery, altered art and I even made an 8x8 scrapbook of my trip to Australia (would never do another one, did not enjoy that very much). I love Julie Balzer, Tim Holtz, Lost Coast Designs and Dylusions by Dyan Reaveley. I can create pretty, normal, a bit crazy and outside the box art. I love that I can create no matter what the mood I'm in. I have been creative in how I store things too. I use spinning spice racks to store my brads and eyelets, Pampered Chef utensil holders for my brushes and colored pencils, a metal rod with hooks that goes thru my shelf brackets to hang my decorative scissors on and an over the door shoe holder for my punches. Hope you enjoy the pictures and just remember........there are NO MISTAKES in your art, it just makes you stretch your imagination to create another step to complete your work of art!  Hugs
