Zentangling

I tried to Zentangle in the past and then just didn't do any more with it. Then one day I was at the Senior Center and on there monthly paper was a Zentangle class. So I thought what the heck. It would get me out of the house. Doris Wilbur is our CZT (Certified Zentangle Teacher). She is wonderful and makes the classes so much fun. Once a month we meet at the Senior Center and from 1-3 we have a ball. She is so sweet, kind and patient. We learn about 5 new Zentangles and then make something. It is quite relaxing. One of the classes we Zentangled on shrink plastic, we we made a pin and a necklace. A few days later I had an idea. I was going  to make some shrink plastic Zentangled doll pins to give to the girls when we met next. Here is the birth of my ZDP.

It's official I'm an Apprentice
Drew the shapes
I use my hole punch for the hair, arms and legs. I drew the faces and then divided the body into 4 sections.

Now starts the fun. I Zentangled all the sections and colored the faces in. Here I shrunk all but one so you cans see the original size and the finished.
All shrunk and ready to get their hair done and get their limbs.
Arms and legs completed and the start of the hair. The hair is the hardest part.
Meet the girls from L to R - Scarlett, Emmy, LuLu (that's me), Tessa and Violet.
Here were  2 another class. We used the Zentangles we learned in class  and in another class we learned how to do gems. Not finished doing them yet. I can't find my pin that I did in class using the shrink plastic.
